Using and navigating ACTA Card pdfs

Card Front

1) The ACTA logo background color is the priority level.  In order, they are: Blue-Patrol, Green-Skirmish, Yellow-Raid, Orange-Battle, Red-War, Black-Armageddon, White-Civilian or Scenario based.  The Fleet List, In-service date, and ship class are also listed here.

2) Basic ship information.

3) A picture of the ship.

4) Interactive block; type in text here to track ship XP points or any campaign upgrades your ship may gain.

5) Critical hits.  When recording critical damage effects, mark the block corresponding to the results of the hit.  Critical results in RED are vital system hits and may not be repaired with Damage Control.

6) These are interactive blocks similar to the Notes block; type in your ship's name and CQ score here.

Card Back

7) Ship Class, again; so you don't confuse ship cards while they are turned over.

8) The weapon table lists the ship's weaponry in order of Arc, range, and generally firepower.  Some weapons systems (Missiles and E-mines) can have variable payloads; the drop-down box here will allow you to select the payload your weapon system has.

9) Damage Track; check off damage from bottom/right to top/left.  When all you have are red boxes, you are CRIPPLED.

10) Crew Track; check off fatalities from bottom/right to top/left.  When all you have are red boxes, you are running with a SKELETON CREW.

11) High damage ships.  The card layout is largely similar but some things are rearranged in the interests of space. Ships with high damage values (Stations and some Ancients) use larger blocks to represent 10 or 25 damage.  When recording damage, use the larger blocks first if possible.  For example, if you take 22 damage from 1 hit, mark off 2 ten-blocks and 2 normal blocks.  In the case of Fortresses of Light, there is more than one threshold and no critical effect block.  When you have counted off all the white blocks you are considered HEAVILY DAMAGED the reduced Defense Network, Interceptor, and Targets values take effect.  When the orange run out you are CRIPPLED and a further reduced Defense Network, Interceptor, and Targets values take effect.
