The after-Thanksgiving aftermath

Well, I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it in your part of the world) - mine was a little lame.  I've been fairly sick the last couple of weeks and spent quite a bit of my holiday getting rest.  It usually hits this time of year - I'm getting sensitive to the change of seasons here in northern California.  When the cold sets in and the temperature is in the 30's when you go out to the car in the mornings - that's when it hits.  I know a lot of you live in colder climates and are laughing pretty hard right now, well...bite me.  Anyway, I've got some of my Christmas shopping done.  None of it was on Black Friday - smart people stay home that day.  The crowds just aren't worth the hassle anymore.  There's never a parking space, and everyone is in their worst "I was here first" mode.  So I stayed under the covers and drank a lot of liquids.  And tried not to cough up a lung.

Anyhoo, I've gotten a card-making binge this week, and was able to complete the previously half-completed Narn fleet this evening and posted.  Any suggestions as to the next fleet I should do?

Does anyone even read these?  ;)

Watch your cattle...

Yes, its the flying saucers.  The Vree fleet is done and posted.  This was a small fleet so it wasn't quite as enduring as most fleets.  But, as I've said, the Narn are in progress, which is one of the bigger fleets, with 20+ ship cards to make.

Right now I'm pretty sick.  As in Ill.  Flu season has come with a vengeance out here, and it nailed me the other day.  I'm off work for a couple days to rest and recuperate, and hopefully it should be well as its a long weekend anyway with Veteran's day coming up on Monday.

Hope that all you guys back in the UK are "battening down the hatches" - I've heard there's a real monster storm headed your way right now.  Welcome to Florida!

The new Centurion Super Sport

Yeah, small misprint snuck through on the Centauri Centurion-class Attack Cruiser.  One of the weapons had a special weapon trait of SS, rather than DD for Double Damage.  Whoops.  The updated card is now posted.

The Vree are pretty much done now except to add all the crap to the website for them so it might not be until later this week.  In the meantime I'm working on the next list, the Narn, which is very big.  I'm guessing it will be 2 weeks or longer before they're done.  Hopefully it will be up before Thanksgiving.

Has anyone been watching Heroes?  The first several episodes have been awesome - and next week they take us back to the flight of Peter into the statosphere.  Man there are some good shows on TV right now.

Shows I'm recording:  Prison Break, Heroes, Journeyman, Eureka (now between seasons - Sci Fi, you've got to get more than 13 episodes a year of that), Bionic Woman, Life, Las Vegas, Flash Gordon, Stargate Atlantis, and Saturday Night Live.  The last episode of SNL was a classic, some of the funniest stuff I've seen in a while.  I wish they'd get some better musical acts though.  There were only about 3 last year I was very impressed with.  And lets not forget Battlestar Galactica.  Razor should be on in a couple weeks.  That will be sweet.
