"If you value your lives...be somewhere else!"
...it's the Minbari! Yes, I finished up 11 pages of fleet in an afternoon! Whew! The entire fleet is now available to be downloaded, much to the chagrin of your enemies. When I do a fleet that quickly, there's bound to be a couple errors, so if you see any let me know ASAP and I'll get it fixed straight away.
I saw Will Smith's new Oscar bid, "Pursuit of Happyness" yesterday afternoon. Really a great film. To think that a guy can sink so low, and stay with it...the things he went through would have driven me mad. But its probably one of those ultimate success stories, rags-to-riches type story, or whatever, but really, its about not quitting - ever. I recommend it if you are in the mood for a "feel good" story, which many of us are this time of year.
I'll have a lot of time off over the holidays, so I'm hoping to get many more fleets done by then. I plan to update the Early EA and Narn fleet lists with the new fighters and ships they've gotten, and then on to the next two fleets...any suggestions?
Also, I'm STILL hoping to get some volunteers to submit pictures for the site here...any fleet you don't have a page for now (many still say coming soon!) needs a ship picture. Lets see some of those great ships folks! Send me an email with your picture and have it immortalized!

Beeep...Beeep...Beeep...
That's the sound of a Warlock Advanced Destroyer, backing up. I somehow had listed its aft railgun as 20AD yesterday...the corrected card is now posted.

What's Next?
Got the Crusade Era Earth Alliance fleet cards done and posted. On to the Minbari!
There wasn't a new episode of Prison Break, Heroes, or Studio 60, on Monday night. I think I'm going through withdrawal. :) Well, at least "Daybreak" starring Taye Diggs is on tonight. Its a great program to fill in for Lost. If you're not familiar with Daybreak, its about a cop who is living the worst day of his life over and over again. It's literally "24" crossed with "Groundhog Day". I'm wondering if they're going to have him fix the loop (presumably by solving the crime/frame-up) at the end of the run or are they going to leave us hanging for after Summer, after Lost finishes up. We'll see.
I'm going to do some internet shopping tonight. Glenn if you're reading this, I have no Idea what to get you or your wife. I can't read thoughts from across country! send hints!!!

It's good to have friends...
...who can convince you to go to a con you had no expectation of going to. I got back from "Winter Weekend in the Pale" Sunday afternoon and had a lot of stuff to catch up on. I got a day off from work, carpooled down to Sunnyvale (though it was anything but sunny...), almost got lost in the process (trivia: there are TWO "Mission Blvd." exits from I-680, guess which one comes first...), and played a bunch of Living Greyhawk. There were some exceptionally deadly games at this con...so called, "mini missions"...but I was fortunate enough to survive them all with both my characters, Sigvard and Dexamenus -some were not so lucky. Rest in peace, my good companion Inigo Montoya. Be assured, the six-fingered man shall not escape Gustin Grimm and Sigvard's relentless pursuit!
In other news, I finished the base PDFs for the Crusade Era EA...I'll probably have them complete and up late Wed. night as tomorrow I have another LG game.
Got your Christmas shopping done yet?

A Little EA'll do ya...
OK, I finished the 5 sheets I stated last night and posted them. I'm going to start on the last 4 for the Crusade Era EA and since I don't have a game scheduled tomorrow, its likely I can have them done tomorrow night. Enjoy!

Holiday Rush
Well, here it is, this time of year things get crazy...its like everything happens in fast forward in December. After Thanksgiving, there's too much to do towards at the end of the year. As if your normal day to day demands of life aren't enough to keep you busy! This time of year, there's even more to do - parties to plan, attend, cook for...travel to plan, prepare for, and do...shopping to plan, consider, and stress over...presents to package, wrap, and post...deadlines to meet, miss, and forget about...yeah I didn't get the Crusade EA list finished this weekend like I wanted. Sorry folks, I know that there's a lot of you out there that wonder why this is taking so long, and it doesn't really - its just having free time. For you kids out there who can't wait to get out of high school and college and out on your own...good luck! HA!
Tonight's episode of Heroes is the last until the new year, so we'll get a break for a couple weeks I suppose, but they haven't said when in the new year its coming back, but I'm figuring late Jan. or so. Its been a heck of a show, and I couldn't be happier with the writing or with the show's concept...its been tops since it first aired, its one I will definitely put on my Christmas List next year!
Regarding my dad, it looks like he's finally turned a corner and they think he'll be out of the hospital in the next few days. He's been in one hospital or another since late October, and he's got quite a bit of recovery until he's back up to full strength, but he's out of the woods so to speak. There's still chemo to go, though, so he's got that to look forward too. Here's to you dad...don't ever scare me like that again.
